 How Do I Enable Classroom Sign-In Sheets?

The classroom sign-in sheet feature allows administrators and instructors to download a sign-in sheet of the roster to keep track of attendance of a classroom session.

How Do You Turn Classroom Sign-in Sheets On?

  • Using a Main Administrator account, from the Admin Navigation menu, select General Settings.
  • Select the Content tab.
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
  • Check the box Use Class Session Sign-in Sheets.
  • Configure the three options:
    • Sort Roster By: Last Name or Username.
    • Additional Field 1 - Choose an additional field to be displayed on the sign-in sheet. This is optional.
    • Additional Field 2 Choose an additional field to be displayed on the sign-in sheet. This is optional.

That's it! Now sign-in sheets are turned on.

How Do I View the Sign-In Sheet as an Admin?

  • From the Admin Navigation menu, select Classroom Sessions.
  • Select the session for which you want to download the sign-in sheet.
    • Double-click to open the session's properties.
  • At the bottom, click Sign-In Sheet.
  • This will download the sign-in sheet in PDF form.

What Do the Different Colors in the Sign-In Sheet Mean?

You will see a legend at the top of the sign-in sheet showing that entries in the table in white are students on the roster and entries in the table in gray are students who are on the waiting list. The waiting list and attendance will automatically update if students drop out.

How Do I View the Sign-In Sheets as an Instructor?

  • Sign in to your Instructor
  • Select Roster from the Navigation Bar.
  • Next to the session, there will be a PRINT button that allows the Sign-In Sheet to be downloaded.
