How Do I Configure Administrator Dashboards?

Prior to the 10.13 release, only one dashboard showed for all administrators -- the statistics dashboard. Now by default all admins get the statistics dashboard, but now a Users and Content dashboard can be selected for each admin type.

Where Can Dashboards Be Configured for Each Admin Type?

  • From Admin Navigation, select General Settings
  • Select the Administrator Dashboards tab
  • You will see three sections:
    • Main Admin
    • Sub Admin
    • User Group Admin

Main Admin and Sub Admin Dashboard Types

LMS Statistics

This is the standard dashboard that has been visible, but now has a face lift. The dashboard can still be filtered based on registration field(s) and value(s).

User Dashboard

This dashboard will show admins information about users that they have access to. For Main Admins and Sub Admins the dashboard will show information for all information for users within the LMS.

Content Dashboard

This dashboard will show admins three things:

  • Top 10 Most Completed pieces of content
  • 20 Newest Pieces of Content
  • Top 10 Lowest Rated pieces of content (Content Rating System must be turned on)

User Group Admin Dashboard Cards

LMS Statistics Dashboard

Shows LMS Statistics to admins about users that are in groups they are admins of.

User Dashboard

This will show information for users that are apart of groups that this admin is a User Group Admin for.

Learning Tracks Dashboard

This will show information about Learning Tracks that the User Group Admin has ownership of.
