TraCorp LMS Quick Reference Guide (QRG)

Audience: Main Admin, Sub Admin

Overview

This QRG explains the Update Assignments Info tab. This tab allows administrators to view what assignments are currently updating for users and user groups in the system.

Enabled Permissions Required to Complete the Following Steps

·         General Settings > Update Assignments (Sub Admin)

Note: Sub Admin without access to complete these steps should review Permissions with a Main Admin. User Group Admins do not have permission to access General Settings.

Update Autoassignment Settings

1.        From Admin Navigation, click General Settings.

2.       Click the Update Assignments Indo tab.

3.       Click the Run Autoassignments if User updates the profile/preferences check box to automatically update assignments when an admin or user saves a user’s profile.

Pending Assignment Updates

·         Updates pending processing for users, user groups, and learning tracks are listed in the Pending Assignment Updates screen. A red ‘x’ indicates no assignments are currently being processed. A green checkmark indicates assignments are currently being processed.

·         Updates to user assignments are checked once a minute. If a user's profile information is updated, they are automatically added to this list.

Note: The LMS may indicate that these updates are processed each evening. TraCorp has updated this functionality and updates are now run automatically throughout the day.
